In this session, he will talk about what we cannot hear on stage, his career to date, and his vision for the future.

About Guest Speakers


Kamigata Rakugo performer. He is the 15th disciple of Master Bunshi Katsura VI.

He is the second foreign Rakugo performer in the 400-year-old Japanese traditional storytelling art of Rakugo, and the first in 100 years. He has performed Rakugo all over the world, most notably in New York ・ where his long-running Rakugo show on Broadway is now in its fifth year.

The Broadway Rakugo run began on September 19, 2019, and the long run is still ongoing. It has received the following positive reviews from the media in New York City.
