Nippon Club Culture Courses ： Tea Ceremony ＜ Omotesenke School Soumeian ＞ Ritturei

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced tea ceremony practitioner, please feel free to join us, whether you have never taken up the tea ceremony because you are not comfortable sitting on the floor or you would like to entertain guests in the taterei style.

With the change in modern lifestyles, a new style of tea ceremony called taterei, in which tea is served at a table with tea utensils on a chair in a Western-style room, was invented and is now widely practiced at tea ceremonies and other events. The kettle, ladle, and other utensils are the same as those used for tea ceremony on tatami mats, so everyone is welcome to participate, from beginners to experienced tea masters, including those who have not started tea ceremony because they are not comfortable sitting on the floor, and those who wish to entertain guests in the taterei style. This class is also recommended as a continuation of the "First Table Tea Ceremony" class held by Omotesenke School Soumeian.

Fees ： $ 90 （ 1st half ／ 2nd half 3 lessons each ）, Mizuya fee $ 45 （ 1st half ／ 2nd half 3 lessons each ）

＜ Initial registration fee ＞
First-time students attending a full-term course for the first time must pay an initial registration fee （ Japan Club Member $ 25/ General $ 50 ） in addition to the course fee.
