Japan Gallery "Revival ： Supreme Traditional Craftsmanship: From Edo to the Present" Exhibition

For the first time in two years, we will hold an exhibition at the Japan Gallery on the 7th floor of the Japan Club. Please come and visit us ！.

After a two-year hiatus, coinciding with Asian Week in New York, Orientations ・ Gallery and Oriental ・ Treasures ・ Box ・ Gallery return to the Japan Gallery on the 7th floor of the Nippon Club. This year will mark the 10th anniversary of this collaborative exhibition by the two galleries. The exhibition will feature high quality works by renowned artists in the fields of cloisonne, metalwork, ceramics, lacquerware, painting, bamboo and woodwork, sculpture, and dyeing and weaving. A wide range of gems of modern and contemporary crafts will be presented by Imperial Household Artists and Living National Treasures.

For the first time in two years, the exhibition will be held at the Japan Gallery on the 7th floor of the Nippon Club. Now that the past two years have passed and we are beginning to regain our serenity, we hope that you will be uplifted and moved by the beautiful works of art created by modern and contemporary craftsmen and women of exceptional craftsmanship. The themes of the works are vivid landscapes of flying birds and blooming flowers. There will also be works related to rituals such as incense and tea ceremonies. Please come and visit the exhibition.
