Junko Nishioka received her Master of Economics from Kyoto University and joined the Industrial Bank of Japan in 2000. Started working as an economist at Bank of Japan in 2002 Joined ABN AMRO Securities Tokyo Branch ( merged with RES Securities ) in 2007 Joined RES Securities Tokyo Branch as Chief ・ Economist ・ Japan in 2008 Joined Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. in 2015 and was appointed Chief ・ Economist at SMBC NY in 2019.
