Based on Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Shonbojutsu, the best thing to do when you are attacked is to run away, but if you cannot run away, you will learn how to protect yourself as much as possible by practicing self-defense techniques rather than doing nothing. You will learn how to deal with a hand or hair grab, how to run away when being mounted on a horse, how to deal with an attempted punch, the best short stick technique for knife fights, etc., through friendly competition with real opponents (it's a great way to work up a sweat and get some exercise!)
