The beginning of a new year can be exciting, but in some cases it can also raise many questions in a VUCA-driven world. Especially in the early stages of one's career, one may feel a vague sense of uncertainty about one's future.
Therefore, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of New York, the Japan Club of New York, and the Japanese American Association of New York ( JAANY ) will jointly host the first "Social for Young Employees" on the upcoming April 18 ( Thursday ) at the Japan Club Hall.
This event aims to provide an opportunity for young professionals to share the knowledge, know-how, skills, and experience they have developed in their respective fields of work by providing a place to interact with people of the same generation from other companies in different industries, and to help them find solutions to problems they are facing at work and further develop their careers. This is a social gathering for young professionals to share the knowledge, know-how, skills and experiences they have gained in their respective fields of work.
We have invited two outstanding young professionals to speak on a panel discussion. This will be followed by a networking session ( with food and beverages ). There will also be a small raffle with proceeds going to JAA's 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund. We hope you will take advantage of this event as a benefit for your company's young employees.
And we hope that not only young employees but also member representatives of member companies will register for the meeting. We hope that by providing an opportunity to interact with the management ・ C-Suite, we can provide an opportunity for young professionals to further develop their careers. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Please note :
- This event will be held in English
- We would like to offer this opportunity to as many member companies as possible, and ticket quantity is limited. Please limit to 3 per company at this time.
- Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, the full fee will be charged.
- Since beer, wine and other alcohol will be served at the reception, participants must be 21 years of age or older.
- We will close the event when we reach capacity. In that case, please be advised that you will be placed on the wait list.
