Completed one year of training in pediatrics, three years in psychiatry, and two years in child psychiatry in New York. After working in clinical research positions, he became Medical Director of the Adolescent Unit at Zucker Hillside Hospital, and since 2020 has been responsible for 226 beds in 10 wards at Zucker Hillside Hospital, involved in inpatient and staff management, clinical research, and resident and medical student education. Donald & Barbara Zucker Haustra / Professor of Psychiatry at Northwell Medical School, where he has published numerous articles and research papers in the US and abroad. Currently, he is a consultant psychiatrist at the Consulate General of Japan in New York.
