Tohru Sasaki （ Toru Sasaki ）

Since June 2015, Mr. Sasaki joined JP Morgan ・ Chase Bank in April 2003 as Chief FX Strategist. He has been a Director of Managing ・ since May 2010.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked at the Bank of Japan, where he joined in 1992 and worked in the Research and Statistics Department and Sapporo Branch before being assigned to the International Bureau （ (then ）) from 1994 to 1997, where he was responsible for market research ・ analysis and foreign exchange market intervention. Assigned to the New York office, where he was in charge of information gathering ・ research ・ and analysis on the U.S. financial market in general, while exchanging information with the U.S. authorities such as the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
