持病ありの留学

ニューヨークに語学留学したいのですが、持病があり日本の保険ではカバーできません。
最悪、病院にはかからなくていいのですが、万が一持病が原因で倒れたときの医療費が心配です。
アメリカの医療費が高額なのは知っています。


アメリカ、ニューヨークに持病ありで留学してる方いませんか？
現地の保険など方法があれば教えてください。

カレッジなどに留学されるのであれば学校で入れる保険がありましたので、留学先に問い合わされるのがよろしいかと思います。予防接種を受けた証明等が必要な場合もありますので
